Tried shrinking it down to 1600x900 but it never got past rendering the first layer. Also tried another smaller PSD file and running the app as administrator but got the same result every time.
If you don’t mind some extra steps, could you check for errors with this thingy. Doesn’t need installing, just download, launch dbgview64.exe, and then run the mouse app normally. Copy the messages if there’s any.
Alternatively, send that breaking file to REDACTED
Hello! I've made something using this, but whenever I export the file either 1. it doesn't show any images (if .exe) or 2. isn't recognized as an html5 game when uploaded to itch. When testing the game with the Run option I can see everything I drew and it runs fine, and when exported the sound even works. I can't figure out what I did wrong. I do have the files in folders separate from the initial download, if that could be causing it. Thank you!
based on that info i conclude that it probably broke.
Could you compare the exported files in the output folder with ones that appear in temp folder next to the application after pressing Run (closing the game clears them).
There’s no difference between running a preview and making an exe, except where files are wtitten to. Perhaps something prevents access to where you’re exporting to (windows, itchio app, etc), or there’s path abnormalities (non-latin characters?).

I'm really excited to use this app but when I try to test it it doesn't work after I click run and export.
Are there limitations on which the files have to be? Cause it was a 1920x1080 canvas with 20+ layers so far.
